2.A Transparent Conductive Coating of KDP Using Ion- Assisted Deposition

ثبت نشده
چکیده

Several types of electro-optic devices require electrodes that are both optically transparent and electrically conductive. Examples of such devices useful for inertial fusion lasers are given in Table 43.1. Some devices, such as the longitudinal Pockels cell, require application of a transparent electrode to a thermally sensitive substrate of potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDP). The applied coating must also have a high laser-damage threshold for the infrared (1054 nm). A variety of methods1 have been developed for depositing transparent conductors, but most require heating the substrate to promote complete oxidation of the film. This article describes a technique for depositing transparent conductors using indium-tin oxide (ITO) with ionassisted deposition (IAD).

Highly Conductive Bilayer Transparent Conducting Oxide Thin Films for Large-Area Organic Photovoltaic Cells

Highly conductive In-doped CdO/Sn-doped In2O3 (CIO/ITO) bilayer transparent conducting oxide (TCO) thin films were prepared by combining, in sequence, metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) and ion-assisted deposition (IAD) techniques. The bilayer substrates, with a low In content of ∼19 atom % and a low sheet resistance of only ∼4.9 Ω/0, were investigated as anodes in the bulk-heteroj...

Comparison of Properties of Ti/TiN/TiCN/TiAlN Film Deposited by Cathodic Arc Physical Vapor and Plasma-assisted Chemical Vapor Deposition on Custom 450 Steel Substrates

This study investigated the effects of deposition techniques on the microstructural and tribological properties of Ti/TiN/TiCN/TiAlN multilayer coatings onto a Custom 450 steel substrate. The coatings were produced using cathodic arc physical vapor deposition (CAPVD) and plasma-assisted chemical vapor deposition (PACVD). The microstructural of the coatings was evaluated using (SEM), and phase f...

High mobility annealing of Transparent Conductive Oxides

To improve electrical properties a high temperature annealing treatment was applied to several transparent conductive oxides (TCO), namely tin doped indium oxide (ITO), Gaor Aldoped ZnO (ZnO:Al/Ga), ion beam assisted deposited (IBAD) ZnO:Ga and Ga doped zinc magnesium oxide (ZnMgO:Ga). All these films were grown by magnetron sputtering. During the annealing process all TCO films were capped wit...
